Hon. Ibrahim Yamba Nelson Issaka
District Chief Executive, Ahafo Ano South District Assembly
Appointed by H.E. the President in 2025, Hon. DCE Ibrahim Yamba Nelson brings vast experience in local governance and community development. Under his leadership, the assembly has executed over 30 development projects, improved IGF mobilization by 22%, and strengthened citizen participation through town hall meetings. He holds an MBA in Commonwealth Executive Masters in Public Administration in 2014 at the Kwame University of Science and Technology Nkrumah (KNUST) and also holds BSc in Education at University of Cape Coast (UCC) . He was a Board Member at the Ghana Land Commission between 2012 to 2016 and also a consortium executive member for 3 terms from 2012 till date.
Ibrahim Yamba Nelson is a Community Leader and dedicated public servant, currently serving as the District Chief Executive (DCE) in Ghana. With a passion for community development, he's driven to improve the lives of residents through initiatives like a Community Computer Development Project and support for people with disabilities.
